Hyundai is all set to launch its new competitor SUV Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan. And we all can agree that Hyundai is not coming slow this time.

How the name 'Hyundai' is in my mind?

Hyundai is the name we have known for a long time. The first car for me was Hyundai Santro, a one with weirdly long tail lights on the top rear and it really looked a bit awful. Perhaps that was its distinctive feature and we all remembered that one for a long time.

Then came its predecessor, the one with relatively less weird taillights and it simply was a revolution. After that, I particularly do not remember any special model from this brand until 2020, where it emerged out of nowhere and started releasing its new models and presenting itself as another option worth considering for Pakistani consumers.

Roll the carpets!

One of the models Hyundai is yet to release is Hyundai Tucson. A new addition to the family of SUVs in Pakistan. With its elegant design and various functionality, I'm sure alot of SUV customers out there would love to know more about this Hyundai's new release.

About the launch:

Hyundai Tucson was announced to be launched this month but due to COVID-19, its launch has been delayed. It was initially showcased in the Pakistan Auto Show 2020 in Lahore.

This SUV will be manufactured locally in Faisalabad. This means we can expect a bit of a low price on this one. The company is yet to announce the price of this SUV when they will launch the car this month. We can't be so certain about the pricing but an estimated price of around Rs. 5 Million should be kept in mind.

What's packed inside Hyundai Tucson?

Hyundai Tucson is a front-engine 4-wheel drive with a 2.0 L petrol engine capable of producing 155hp. Its length would be 176 inches, width and height would be 72.8 and 65.5 inches respectively.

As for the interior goes, the 5-seater SUV will be equipped with a variety of features including a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, power steering, power windows, cruise control, six airbags and much more.
