How to Kill Quarantine Boredom?

For all the things we wanted to try on the vacations have already been tried or are limited to indoors only. So how to fill this quarantine boredom up?

This quarantine period has been a hard time to spend for all of us, where we ran out of things which we could have possibly done in our free time.

Now as we have nothing else to do in particular to spend our time, I've come up with some ideas that will help you consume your time this quarantine:

  • Start working out a bit. This quarantine we all are just laying on our beds and sofas and have nothing in particular to do all day. So, I would suggest a light workout on daily basis would be a good thing to keep your muscles active and healthy.

  • A healthy body comes with a healthy mind. Try breathing meditation at least for 5-10 minutes daily. It will help to relax your mind, release anxiety, and also get a peaceful sleep.

  • Self-care is also an important factor to consider this quarantine. You can nourish your hair, brighten up your skin, discover new ways to improve yourself physically as you have to look good when this all gets over.

  • Well, as you are free, you can learn something handy. You can learn a skill that may or may not be much helpful to you in the future. C'mon, you just have to kill the time, so why not do it in a positive way? Learn some cooking, typing, or anything which suits you.

  • Dig the world of Wikipedia. You 'know' many things that you actually do not know so now it is the best time to explore them.

Wikipedia is just like an unexplored map. The more you spend your time on it, the more           knowledge you will gain, and ultimately, the more things will be 'unlocked' in your mind.

  • You can indulge yourself in watching movies. For me, I personally started watching the whole marvel series because I missed it and it was no fun watching any Avengers part without understanding a particular character's background.  Yet I haven't watched any star wars movie, and that is what I am planning to do next. You can choose your favorite series and start watching them.

  • Play casual games on your phone. There are a lot of casual, puzzle, strategic games for your mobile or desktop which you can install and give a try. Maybe you will get addicted to it. Who knows?

  • Stay connected with your friends via social media and other multiplayer games like PUBG, Ludo, etc. The games which you can just play like other physical games but only this time, it is not that much 'physical'.

  • Work from home. Obviously, you can start doing that stuff which actually is a thing this quarantine. Still, we all hate this.

  • Try homeschooling.  As the schools are closed this quarantine so you can do is just start homeschooling to the kids in your home, whether they are your siblings or just kids. You don't have to be a parent to start this.

  • Start and develop a habit of reading. Too much tech for you for a single day, isn't it? Try getting offline and do various activities like reading, etc. It will help you build up your understanding and get some knowledge, and it also is a perfect time-consumer.

  • Try to cook something. There is always a favorite recipe which you always wanted to cook yourself but you do not try as it is quite a hard and precise thing to manage. Well, now is the time to give it a shot!

  • Learn any instrument! I personally want to learn how to play the guitar as it is my favorite instrument. You can pick the one you are most interested in. Who knows when it will come in handy...

These were some points I have come up with to utilize the quarantine time for all of us. Hope you will find them useful.
