Gaming PC build under Rs. 50000

A complete list of the components you need to build yourself a Budget-friendly gaming PC under Rs. 50,000/-

In these moments of quarantine, many people out there have a lot of spare time to pass and a significant number of people, mostly youth, are indulging themselves into gaming. And to start from a specific point, they do need some guidance regarding the build of a PC that will be capable to do some decent gaming. Many people out there do look for a specific guide that can help them making a PC which will both satisfy their performance needs and will be in their budget.

So upon considering both of these factors alongside the market prices of various components needed to build a decent gaming PC, I've designed a PC that will cost you under (or around) Rs. 50,000/-.

It is advisable to consider your range from Rs. 50,000/- to Rs 55,000/- as the prices do vary from market to market, things available here at cheap rates might be expensive at your place. So it is recommended that you should be a little flexible on your budget.

Processor:

The first thing that comes in mind when you think of the word 'PC' is the processor. And for that, I would say to go for core i7 3rd generation. It really is a budget-friendly entry-level processor that can go with this build which will cost you around Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 15,000. Or you can get an intel Xeon  e3-1275-v3, which is a 3.5 GHz processor with 4 cores and 8 threads. Which will also cost you the same but it is equivalent to core i7 4th generation which is of around Rs. 18,000 in markets. So I would recommend going for Intel Xeon as it provides a better price-to-performance ratio.

Motherboard:

The next thing is the motherboard where the CPU rests and operates. For that, You may consider going towards  Gigabyte Q87M motherboard. It satisfies all the basic needs like 2 RAM slots, USB 3.0 ports, display port and PCI-e ports. All come in handy with a price tag of Rs. 6,000. I would suggest this motherboard if you are going with the Intel Xeon processor. If this motherboard is hard to find, you can go for any that will be suitable for the components and will be around this budget.

Hard Disk:

As for the matter of hard disk is concerned, you should try to go for a 500GB one, as this is a budget-friendly build so you should consider saving some money wherever possible. A 500GB hard disk is really a handy one in this situation which can store most of your data including games, documents, files, pics, videos etc. You can think of it in the price tag of
Rs. 1,500.

SSD:

SSD is an important factor for a PC build these days as it boosts PC's performance at a significant rate. For this build, you can consider buying a 128GB SSD to store your windows that will cost you around Rs. 2,000

(Make sure to check the health before buying HDD and SSD and don't settle for it if the health is less than 80 % as it may cause you problems in the future.)

RAM:

When it comes to the RAM, consider it to be at least 8GB for this build. You can later upgrade it according to your needs, like to 12 GB or 16 GB (you may not have any more choice as the motherboard supports only 2 RAM slots). So for this build, you'll be needing 2x 4GB RAM sticks of Rs. 1,500 each.

Power Supply Unit (PSU):

One of the most important and crucial components of the PC build. You should be careful about buying a power supply because it powers your whole PC. A small ignorance in terms of quality of PSU can lead you to lose your PC in a glance. Pakistan's electricity supply is not stable sometimes and it underloads or overloads under certain circumstances (Like raining etc) so in order to withstand all those electricity fluctuations, your PSU should be strong, branded and durable. For this build, I would recommend a PSU of any famous brand of 450W that will cost you Rs. 2,000.

Graphics Card (GPU):

Now here comes the fun part. This will be the main component of our PC and we have to choose the best option we can find in this category. For this build, I will go for AMD RX 580 (8GB) that will cost us around Rs. 21,000 - 23,000. This is probably the best card available in this price range which will provide the best performance and will be able to play almost every game in 1080p high-ultra settings. The vendor will be XFX but you can choose whatever you want, depending upon the availability in your region.
(Be very careful before purchasing GPU, as some of them are used 24/7 in mining before they are sold in markets and you definitely do not have to go for those as they are totally worn out and may malfunction in near future). Also, check for the temperatures before buying a GPU as it really affects the performance of both GPU and PC.

Casing:

This does not really affect the overall performance of the PC. Just keep in mind that it should be large enough for all of your components so that they can have some airflow for their proper function. A basic casing of Rs. 1,500 - 2,000 will do the job.

So here is the summary of the things I've concluded in this build w.r.t their prices:
